When you break down and make that appointment or go to the emergency room for care you must be able to work with your doctor. Your doctor should know what already acquired at home for this problem so he doesn’t give something that will thwart your home remedy.
Tell your doctor about all of your past history of the disease. He needs to know what immunization shots you took and what treatments you have had in the past. If you cannot remember, keep records and date handy. Also know about your family’s health is important. Some disease in the family, and the physician must have an idea of what to look for when he makes his diagnosis. Keep a list of your current medications including taking over the counter medications.
When you go to see the doctor to write the questions they may have. Ask him to explain. Always ask questions if he says or does things and your not sure what they are for. Remember that it is a question not asked a stupid one. Tell him if you are already taking a drug and you don’t feel like helping. If you do not agree with what the doctor is saying feel free to get a second opinion.
Routine check ups is very important for a healthy you. Having routine checks may not seem important, but there might be something to do and maybe your doctor may take time before it progresses too far. Make sure that getting your flu and pneumonia shots every year as recommended. The shots may not prevent getting the flu, but it may decrease so as not to be so sick. Get help for depression, laying down on old people faster than others do. Maybe take some classes on diet and exercise. There you learn and meet new people. The activity will be good for everyone. If you don’t want to take classes to try a support group to meet people.
Above all, not to take health into their own hands. I know with the high cost of medicines and medical care prevents us from what we need to receive. Still, you will find resources to help you get the care.
